Zombies? by churro |
| Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a fabulous adaptation. The majority of the text remains the same... but with the addition of zombies. It remains to be seen whether Seth Grahame-Smith is a one trick pony though. "Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters" is being released in September 2009 - I guess we'll find out then. |

| I love Pride and Prejudice. I watch the movie over and over again. So when I saw the book on the shelf, I just had to read it, and I'm glad I did. This is a book everyone would probably enjoy.. While it is still romantic, the book becomes very humorous with zombies running around. In this book, Elizabeth and her sisters are not only taught to be young ladies in society, but they are also taught swordsmanship and musketry to protect themselves from the zombies that roam the countryside. In several balls they attend, they are forced to use daggers concealed in their shoes to fight off zombies. While they are merciless, they also find themselves falling in love with the young men that attend the balls. |

funny by shelly_gurl |
| I loved the original classic and when I heard about this book I just had to get it out and when I did, proceeded to read through it laughing the whole time. It is really well done and a hilarious look at the old story that still manages to work. I'm glad to hear they are doing sense and sensibility over in a similar fashion and hope they finish the whole collection of Jane Austin's books with this very interesting and unique way of veiwing them. |

Unexpectedly delightful by churro |
| I didn't expect to like this - I'm usually a Jane Austen purist - but it's really well adapted. The majority of the text is the original content, so it's amazing that the addition of zombies is so seamless. Really loved it! |

Fantastically Entertaining by KatiJeanne |
| Though I love the Pride And Prejudice movies, I was unable to get through the book! When I saw Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, I thought the situation would be the same but no! This book was fantastically entertaining through and through and I couldn't put it down! I plan on buying this book so I can re-read it whenever I want (: |

Nothing original by kate02478 |
| A few juvenile jokes and an overworked pun on "balls." That's about it for original material. |
