Why wear a paper bag if you have a *sparkly crown*? by radionmencke |
| Here’s an empowering book that doesn’t present girls with having to choose between sparkle and rough-and-tumble hands-on fun (of which there’s plenty). Why should a princess have to wear a paper bag just to show she’s deep? Adults and kids alike may relish the range of these princess’ exploits, but for storytime audiences, the real highlight will be the repeated chorus of “and a sparkly crown!” |
