'Ransom River' by Meg Gardiner by thorntn |
| Rory McKenzie is doing jury service when two men attack the court, kill judge and make ranson demands before they are killed. It seems that rory was actually the target and they want her to tell them where her uncle hid the proceed of an armoured van heist of $25 million. Her exboyfirend is a cop and they have to elude her relatives and the mobsters who want the money.
A real good thriller. New characters but that certainly does not detract from the suspense and plot and excellent writing. |
