When they catch up with her someone has shot at the woman and she dies in Susannah's arms. When the local sheriff seems incompetent they decide they will have to investiate the murder themselves. They have more suspects than they can shake a stick at so they call in the rest of the moonlight investigations crew. Tammy and Waylon are slowly falling in love.
Once again I nearly read this book in one sitting. It was like picking up and old friend. I so enjoy Susannah and the rest of the crew.</td>
