| The Compound is an interesting book with an intriguing plot line. A good book to knock off a couple of hours with, or read as one of the books for the summer reading program. 15 year old Eli, and his family. Go underground into a compound, that his father built, to escape from a nuclear war. Eli and his family have all the time in the world to do whatever they want, until Eli makes a shocking discovery. His father has been lying to them all. He faked a nuclear explosion and burned the families RV down, to convince the rest of his family to go down into the compound. Now time is all too precious. |
